"Alright, children!" Uncle Filbert zealously shouts. "All set for today’s lesson?"

Monique, Leif, and Tallulah stand, or rather more sway, side-by-side in the garden, each of them sleepily mumbling something incoherent in response. After having the worst night terror she's encountered since her arrival, Monique has found it impossible to get even a wink of sleep.

Now she finds herself sleep-standing as the tranquil rustling of the shrubs, and the warm sun beaming down on her, all appear to just nearly succeed in their attempts to lull her to a vertical slumber.

And it would seem that her companions had comically suffered a similar case of insomnia, just barely keeping their eyes open and completely dazed from a sleepless night.

Uncle Filbert, lucky for him, seems perfectly awake, as the plump of his cheeks lifts to a wide grin.

"Righty-o!" the bookseller cheers with a loud clap, jolting each of the trio into a sentinel stance. "Now, let us begin!"
